Jewelry Making Classes in Asheville

Contact me about upcoming classes or schedule your private make-and-take class with your family, friends, or team. Each of you will create your own unique designs and learn new skills to make your own jewelry.

This shared experience gives you a lasting memory connected to the jewelry you take with you.

Classes include use of tools and materials and are limited to 7 participants. Children under 12 need to take the class with an adult.

Private lessons and private group classes are available. Contact me to inquire as far ahead of time as possible.

 

101: Basic Wire-Wrapping

Learn the 4 most important tools to have for wire-wrapping, discover various sizes and materials for wire, and make two pairs of earrings (or earrings and a pendant). You’ll choose from various gemstones and a variety of beads to design your own jewelry. You’ll learn how to make a noose loop, how to use jump rings, etc. Materials and use of tools included.

Discover more gemstone options and the addition of wrapping briolette beads (top-drilled). You’ll make two pieces of jewelry of your choosing (earrings and/or necklaces) and learn about various components to create more complex wire-wrapped designs.

Discover the basics of hammering and a few techniques and gain tips. Explore heavier gauge wire and the implications on your design & materials. Leave with two hammered pieces.

Terms and Conditions: For a full refund, cancellations must be received via writing (text or email) 48 hours in advance. With less than 48 hours notice, a 50% refund is given. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days. All classes will begin at the agreed upon time.
